If you’re a fan of the NBC-owned Breaking News app for Android, you might like the latest update to hit Google Play. As with the iPhone incarnation that arrived back in June, Breaking News for Android now serves up proximity alerts, which are basically push notifications for big stories wherever you happen to be at a specific moment.
