When traveling for work or on vacation, it’s easy to avoid exercise. Many of us get too busy or just slack off. Schedule a time and place for your workouts in advance to keep yourself accountable.
We’ve covered how to work out while traveling in the past. Over at Nerd Fitness, they suggest scheduling these workouts just like you’d plan where you’ll be sleeping or eating. Put the times on your calendar just like you put your flight information. Set an alert to remind you of your workout time and location-based reminders when you are near a gym. If you know people at your destination, ask for a guest pass to their gym (which is usually cheaper than asking the gym directly). Some gyms even have reciprocal membership groups, so your existing membership might transfer.
